Wide-screen machine's 17.3-inch, LED backlit technology equipment, high resolution, 1600 x 900 pixels. Inspiron 17 use processors Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz.

One of the most attention in this version is a machine sold at only 499 USD (9 million), with a lowered configuration of the processor dual-core Pentium, 2 GHz speed, RAM 2 GB, 160 GB hard drive, integrated Intel video chip and use Windows Vista Basic. Low-cost version is run only minimal battery, 4 cell.

Buyers have the option to upgrade to 4 GB RAM configuration, 500 GB hard drive, the Blu-ray, 6 cell battery with graphics card Mobility Radeon HD 4330 256 MB. Current users can pre-order, it will sell out next month. Dell also added an option is battery 9 cell, in September the company will bring version 512 MB video card, works well with full HD 1080p movies.
