Samsung is getting ready to unleash its new ultra-thin and light notebook, the Samsung X520. Based on the Intel’s Consumer Low Voltage (CULV) platform, the new X520 features a 15.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, a 1.3GHz Core 2 Solo SU2700 CPU, a 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI output, a 6-cell battery and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. No details on pricing and release date yet, but according to some sources it will cost around €699 ($1,004).[heise]
